i got one of those and find it great! and gardiners are the cheapest to get it from too!

so tried a bog standard hoselock fitting and its perfect. NO MORE LEAKS OOOOOOOSH!!

Might try a hozelock. My brass one leaks until pressure is built and I have to work around it. Life would be easier if it didn't leak, but durability would be an issue I'd think.

I use a £1 B&Q female hoselock onto a brass swivel and a metal reel bolted to floor, always pressured up and ready to use and no leaks whatsoever.Suppose durability would only be an issue if you were constantly connecting and disconnecting.
