Description of the contract:
Accommodation, building and window cleaning services. The University of Bradford
is looking to re-tender its window cleaning services which are currently done
predominantly by reach and wash system, supplemented by elevated platform trucks
and mobile
scaffold towers in some of the more difficult to reach areas. There are a small
number of areas which are cleaned from a roof area (where access is governed by
a roof permit system). Most of the external glass in the University will be
included in the
tender, the vast majority on a twice a year cleaning frequency (the residences
and one or two staircases and similar areas are cleaned on a once a year basis
only).
