"Why most window cleaners will die broke."

Yes.  The Concept2O marketers are at it again.
I probably will die broke but it's nothing to do with which machine I clean window with.  The other reason I will probably die broke is because "being of sound mind, I spent it all while I was still alive."  :) .
Apparently, this makes me a "poor" window cleaner (I assume "poor" in the financial sense rather than "poor" in the sense of work quality.
Whether or not someone agrees with the ethos of Concept2O, as a marketing tool,  fear based marketing totally sucks IMO.  A bit like the pension salesperson who paints a picture of a lonely old age in poverty and cold if you don't buy his brand of pension.
Personally, I hope I do die broke because it will mean that I leave nothing to anyone who hasn't worked for it.  For me the challenge is not whether I die broke or not, the challenge is making sure I don't die too soon.

Andrew Carnegie once said, 'to die rich is to die disgraced'  or words to that effect. As one of the richest men of the time, he knew, that as well as providing for his family, if one is abundantly rich, money should be used to help those less fortunate in life. Ergo, he financed library projects etc so people could better themselves. And other avuncular projects.
What's amazing with such considerate use of wealth is, that he was Scottish  ;D ;D

It is my ambition to shuffle off this mortal coil the day before the first instalment on the mother of all loans is due... and having spent most of it on wine, women, fast cars and having squandered the rest

Most window cleaners will die broke because they are so negative towards new methods of working and marketing

I can guarantee with total accuracy as I rage against the fading of the light I won't be thinking about my bank balance.

You leave this life the same way you come in to it. With nothing.

A lot of people see death as a bad thing.  It doesn't bother me, as long as it's someone else.  Worked so far.
