CHAS accreditation
« on: February 06, 2013, 04:50:58 pm »
A client has decided that all their suppliers have to be CHAS accredited. As I don.t want to lose their work I will have to comply.

Anyone else gone down that route yet?  If so what's involved?

Thanks

Terry.

We were asked a couple of years ago to get Safecontractor accreditation for a contract, which I believe is similar to CHAS.

There are a lot of questionnaires to fill out, quite time consuming, however, as long as the contract is worthwhile, it's worth doing, and while it may not help you gain new customers, it will help as a tool to sell your services.

Our Safecontractor pays for itself many times over each year.

As a sole trader it should be pretty straight forward.
I can put you in touch with someone who will take the strain and get it done for you if you like, but he obviously charges a fee.

Drop me a email if so.
