RO Unit on a water meter

Just moved house and it`s got a water meter,iv`e got a merlin ro at the moment but i know they aren`t the most economical so i`m in need of replacing it for something with less waste water

I've got a pure freedom ro you can have for £20 plus postagethink its a 150 or 200. Needs new membraines an filters possibly but they don't cost a lot

You can run the 4040 RO at 50:50 quite happily.

Make sure you fit a sub meter so you get the sewerage charge knocked off your bill for pure water

being on a meter isnt that bad,
im using a 200gpd RO it roughly uses 3000lts to make 1000lts, not got the waste water on meter and not really noticed any real change on the bill,
with anglian water it works out £3.03 per 1000lts used, thats both water and waste cost.

When I had no meter my water bill was £30 a month, with a meter it came down to 18 and now 3 months on 17 quid a month, and my water usage has increased.
