Cleaning micro fiber with TFR Top TIP
« on: February 05, 2013, 02:54:41 pm »
I had some TFR left over which I have  replaced with migica/101 stuff, so was left with 15 liters of TFR. My lovely was complaining at the cost of me washing scim and micro fiber, so I am now using 10 ml of TFR per 8kg load, works very well.

I don`t do weakly washes only the strong variety.
TFR does a good job in the washing machine at 40c. Leaves the scrim and micro fiber soft and clean and it  seems to increase the porosity.Which I do feel is important due to many washing detergents have emulsifying waxes as an ingredient to calm the washing detergent from over cleaning and make it soft on the hands. The TRF I used was from Jenny Chem and as the non caustic type which I think makes no real difference,  it is only ever so slightly acidic. So there we go. TOP TIP
