shopping malls
« on: February 04, 2013, 09:23:44 pm »
quick question for guys that do lots of shops in them, I have a few but one has a glass panel above the entrance, I can't trad pole it as the name of the shop is there in big silver letters on the glass.

microfibre easy shine and like is also no good, the security in the place seem wise on H&S they chase me out if I am in after 08.30 and when I see the maintenance guys working they always have a ladder footed.

in your experience if I go in at 6.30 via the back entrance will the security be a bit more forgiving if I take a ladder in for ten minutes to get the panel cleaned

Take someone to foot your ladder and don`t do that window every time.Suck up to security.A good way around that is to go to them and" like"hat that you have this problem and ask what they think. If you act as if they only can help you. Quite often these none self important types are flattered by this trick.I used to use it on the council when in the property business. It worked 90

How about a hop up or box instead of a ladder?
Just a thought...

to high mate, I will need my 2m double pointer for it

smithie, I will not need done every time just once a month, I am cleaning the place twice a week, not taking someone to foot it, but I may take your advice on sweet talking security or a fellow shiner to foot it, not that it needs footing

sorry bud.
I don't do anything like that, just trying to think out of the box.
Have you tried the Ionic Dragonfly?
If it's that high it'll probably never be touched just aircon dirt? After a few goes they'll be great...

Just take a ladder and Risk assessment with you and you should be ok as long as you have packed up by 8.30

we work in loads of malls that way and have no probs, you might want to phone them first to ok things

sod it I will just take my ladder in early and plead ignorance if asked, that is what I do when running late and they chase me around after 8.30 ;D

sorry just read daves reply, that sounds like a plan, I will do a risk assessment, and take it with me, I will have a word with security in advance
