2 man set up
« on: February 02, 2013, 10:14:54 am »
I have a fiat scudo 900 payload I want to put a two man setup in it. Is there a way of having a 650 two man setup in it or will I be over weight. I dont carry much two poles. Some tele ladders. 20 quid of fuel and a few trad stuff with two men. Will this put it over the payload. Has any one else done this in one

What size tank do you have in it now? Why don't you fill the tank, then take it to a public weigh bridge, then you can see how much extra weight you can carry, and work out if you will be over the payload with a 650L tank.

Perhaps you could ask the company you are thinking of getting the frame from how much it weighs.

I think the payload is two small Woods:

tank frame with water in it about 700 kg and more
2 hose reels about 40kg
fuel 40 litres 40kg
2 small guys 150kg (I weigh about 100kg and im not big)

your already over without a lunchbox, or any other things you will need, like pumps, poles etc, if your guys are anywere above slim they would be over 150kg

If your not willing to learn, No one can help you, If you are determined to learn, No one can stop you ;)

best thing to do is take it to a weigh bridge, the 650l tank and metal frame will prob weigh about 100kg without water, the plastic tank alone is 45kg

i would say you need a van with a 1000kg payload to pull 650 litres
