Yes... as I wonted to take my life about 6 / 7 years ago but beat depression! it does say that he was not depressed! Forcing people to live with you're suicide is selfish

It doesn't mean he wasn't depressed.
Who knows what frame of mind he was in.

Taking your own life is not a 'normal' action, regardless of the circumstances. Very sad for him and his family. I'm glad for those who beat depression though. It is very hard work.

I suppose you could say the act is selfish but necessarily the bloke.
He could have done it not being himself. If you're really ill, your thoughts could get really bad.

The problem with most of west society is they put there self worth in material goods and money, I think his problem from reading the link was he didnt show his feelings and thats sad when you have a loving family

This poor man obviously could not deal with his financial problems, did not seek professional help and sadly

took his own life,  R.I.P  :(

I can see were one can think its selfish, but the poor man was not himself. I feel for the family. Its so easy to judge another mans reasoning. But until you are in his shoes its better to say nothing.I am sure  this man would not have wished this if he was in good medical care.
Rest in peace fellow windy.

Strong silent type that was too proud to ask for help? Many men are like that - making mistakes, covering up, putting on a brave face. Maybe not taking advice or asking for it from wife and family, thinking it makes them appear weak?

It's good to talk.
It's a game of three halves!
