who will insure a tank in back on van.

Hi Just wondering what companies will insure a tank in the back of van, my current insurer had to contact the underwriters not had that before  :-[ but they would not cover it.

insurance companies have slowely clicked onto the "WFP" system and the fact they class it has a modification. my isurance is more now then 7 years ago with moreno claims because of it but i know im safe that iv i need to claim im covered..

a plan deffo do and ou can take a "gold" type insurance nad they will giv eyou a WFP replacement van for a fault adn non fault accident - if you want the number i deal with danny on 01993 841841

ours i about 630ish fullly comp "gold" service on 1000l tank with a named (experienced) driver on policy too.

adrain flux was 380 odd just as a normal van insurance for business.. just shows how much it goes up with a tank in the back. wow

A-Plan I drive a 60 plate L200 Trojan with a 400 ltr diy fitted tank £1100 with wfp courtesy van.

They got me insured with Liverpool Victoria . Mike

2005 Berlingo van fully comp is about £300ish for me with Adrian Flux.

I'm with Adrian flux and they told me they would charge any extra to have a tank in the back. That was about 6 months ago that I asked

£300 fully comp, including protected no claims, legal protection AND top level full UK breakdown/recovery.

However, my van is not "modified"! ;)

Well you have a newer van than me for a start and obviously worth more.
Maybe a higher insurance group than a Berlingo but not sure. :-\

2005 and probably only worth a couple of grand to be fair.
plus im 38 so might make a small difference.

Just realised I thought you said you had a 2010 astravan but I got you mixed up with someone else! ???

What van have you got then Dave?
