they are at minute dave in our old unit i used to get discounted rates of 40% but since we moved here our supply comes from an adjacent unit and split 3 ways usually until i moved in hopefully this issue is going to be resolved soon it is expensive but i like it here space to grow into as you can see the quite large vacant space is ideal for supplies shop which i will hopefully get up an running over the next year just concentrating on the windows at minute and get some pennies saved up!!

Nice unit, very nice unit.
Trouble for me would be the cost but I would really like all that space.
All I have is a garage at £10 a week which I use for barrels etc. As I need to put the car in it next year and have a van outside I may need to rent another garage which will be on another road. But that would cost another £10 a week.
I really do need to keep costs down ;D

Nice Mate, we call ours a lock up/ yard ...lol. I think getting your vans in at night is a bonus. We can just get the two vans with our space heater. We hope in the not to distant future to have premises with an office and not separate like we have now.

it was 600quid a month first year, now its 700quid for 2 years then 800quid for final two years, basically i was meant to be opening a cleaning supplies store and this unit was cheaper than the two i originally had and had trade counter, shop doors, lighting etc already in place those things would have cost me 5grand easy plus old unit was a bit of a dive in between loads of car garages, although it costing my dear at the minute its a nice base two mins from motorway junction got screwfix and plumbing merchants etc on my doorstep, cafe round the corner and shops just up road

i have no passing traffic at the unit as its sort of tucked away and bit like a cul-de-sac loadsa space for moving vans around

next year i hope too get shop set up when money is more available

So ontop of the rental do you have to pay electic and heating or is this in on the price? if not roughly how much added a month?

That's some bills you gotta pay there richy.

£600 rent
£150 electric
£300 water
£? Council tax / rates
£? Gas

Would it not make financial sense to look at buying a house with large garage / space so atleast it's an investment rather than paying rental money?
