main roads in the valleys ok .
side roads bad .not woth risking the van ,so had a day chopping logs .with a chainsaw .hands have gone soft since wfp .

Not good to be honest; compacted ice on the pavements in a lot of places.  The side roads were fairly good though.  We were just careful.
