I stressed for ages looking for a logo thinking it was really important, and I spent hours researching various companies and actually paid a couple of people to come up with ideas !           Conclusion is unless you are a multinational it is a complete waste of money.

I learned that it was my ego that wanted a boost, and customers couldn't care if your name was jack the ripper a long as their windows are clean.

Fair point and I agree its probably about ego's I suppose cause Im coming to this a bit late in life and having worked for others all my life. I just want to be different , and a logo does that, it defines me and what I do... Mrs miggins doesnt give a stuff about my logo. But I want here to recognise My van when im in her street and reach for her purse..

Samson,

a logo is something people are going to remember far more than your ego. customers may not care what your name is, but it is how they and others remember you.

totally agree Ian i have started using a different one now , Overall i think a logo looks far better on invoices for commercial customers .

Will have to try logo on my payment slips but will need to resize the image i think not that good with that kind of thing . Mike
