I clean about 3inch off my panels , Saturday I think . I did not use any water just brushed it off . Started at top and pulled down wards . It sort of builds up as you pull down , and starts to push the snow bellow it off . Mine are only low level so I could see that they where clean . The snow seemed to remove any dirt there may have been on them .
It was good to see that the snow blocked any soar production , but once cleaned the invert came on and started to produce electric again .

Down side to it that if guttering is weak or old the excess weight of the snow as you pull it could bring the guttering down, so might have to work from bottom up first then tidy anything up after.
