Tumble drier hose will melt.

How big is the exit hole - how about flexible chimney liner?
It's a game of three halves!

"i can give you the info you need to make a controler for £20 also where to buy a new pump for £25 im using these now and have bin for a year with no problems at all. hose reel will cost £20 new gardiner hose about £70 i think

so £135 for that lot then about £20 on fittings pipe as for the tank you can use whatever you like i used to have two 100 littre uprite drums joined cost £40 and there was my first ever van system and was just as good as any of these expensive once for like £900 in my opinion all its gotta do is pride water to the pole. il probley get slated on hear for all of this but take it from someonce who knows its better than any crappy trolly or backpack ps used them to and never again lol i have an 18 ft fiberglass pole that can go for £20 aldo have a aluminium pole about 23 foot for £20 thanks Dean"

I'm sorry for trying to save you money on your setup with a proven idea that works well. I posted on hear about the flue for advice. And I will be taking the advice on board I have no intention of using something dangerous. As for the tool bit easy to say over the net must make you feel realy hard. Constructive cpments only please

As for other coments chimney liner soands like a good idea anyone using it? Also how did you get a seal on boiler. Thanks guys. Dean

Cheers for the help, IV just looked at the pipe looks just the job i shall get one at the same time as i order the boiler. I'm guessing a bead of high temp sealant would seal it. I will also moant it by the door for extra safety ;D

Mount it on the back and open when in operation with a clip to keep the door open and you will save on a flue. As well as dropping the value of your van if it old it will not make a big difference in value.

Sounds like a plan did you just have it by the door or moanted to the inside of the backdoor? Cheers

You can get heat resistant flexi-flue from most hardware stores which is made for fitting wood burning stoves etc so well able to handle the heat. I think I paid about €12 for the bit I have. You just need a HUGE jubilee clip to secure it to the boiler

Wickes do the jubilee clip you want too £1.99 for 2 , at that bore of duct you should have no need for sealants .

That's Brill should I have the pipe so I can clip it on the back door when its in use so its out the van a little? Or just have it by the back door. One other thing apart from the bottle itself do I need one of those regulators for it and what should it be set to? Thankyou for your help guys ;D

I'm not a fan of securing heaters onto the back door - simply because every time you close the door the heater gets a little shock. These heaters are fairly flimsy, so I prefer mine secured inside the van & have installed a roof vent.

Do you have to drain the boiler at night save water freezing and expanding inside the unit and doing damage? I will put the flexible pipe through the roof instead my van is old anyway. Will have to get some sort of cover vowel for the pipe as it will rain and snow straight down it
