would you mind sticking some pics up of how you did it please
Hi kybl, heres pics,
that hose you see next to lid is the pump hose.
veiwed from top, drill hole big enough for pump hose and wires to pass through, sit pump nearly on bottom so does not suck up grit, although thi pump has filter on bottom, then with this epoxy glue fill the top and seal it. ,http://www.amazon.co.uk/EPOXY-ADHESIVE-GLASS-LEATHER-PLASTIC/dp/B003BPX9EK/ref=sr_1_12?s=diy&ie=UTF8&qid=1358681131&sr=1-12
because the pump is pumping out 16 odd litres a min,it will cause a vacum efect, so you will need to put a hose in lid or somewhere so that air can get in, if you look in first pick mine is on lid, you can just loosen lid while pump is filling, but i sometimes i forgot then water would bubble up .
lastly fit an on/off switch from B/Q , put it somewhere it cant be knocked like it did with me once while driving and water pumping everywhere :
this ishow ive done it, and not had any prob for 2 years
hope this has helped .j. p
