Used to be 3 times round value years ago.
Some look for up to 10 times round value now.
Something is only worth what someone else is willing to pay.

its normally people with what would be classed as underpriced work that try and get 10x

If it has documented history spanning years proving cleans, payment history etc then it's worth a lot more than just addresses and missing details like phone numbers then not worth imo no where near 10x

Any evidence for that, or is it just guesswork?

The Fed used to publicise 10x for shop work and that was 15 years ago

It would depend on various factors i.e.-

How long does it take to achieve the £900? If it takes 4 weeks then NO, if it takes 1 week or less then YES!
