Immersion heater - have it on for about 6/7hrs overnight but it cuts out when it reaches temp so no more than a couple of quid in electricity - cost me about £100 to install

Prices are easy enough to find

http://www.purefreedom.co.uk/pure-freedom-isothermal-diesel-water-heater-p-297.html
I had a look at this one when I was up there - very nice. I didn't have the money at the time nor did I realise how expensive replacement burners could be on Webasto heaters. I think the Ionics version works on the same principle but is less versatile.

Concept2o gas system £1.50 a day so they say, don't know the initial price, probably only fit to their systems

Brodex if they still trade. Gas or Diesel

Fit yer own Gas from Corwoods

Or you could just sit on the fence of course.

What we really need is a revue on some of these water heaters as there is so many cheap bad quality ones. Mind you it woukd be a waste of time cause people only red what they want to believe.

cold system here.worked 1030am-330pm.it was hovering around -1 to 0 degrees.no problems apart from the odd frozen window sill which i soon sorted with a bit of extra scrubbing.

hands were nice and warm and dry as i had my glacier "perfect curve" gloves on with liners underneath! ;D ;D ;D ;D

thermobore hose also is still fairly managable at these temperatures even though i use a cold system.
