CIS???????

Recenty started having a few schools come back to me and ask me if I am CIS registered?  What is CIS?  and whould I be registered?

PLEASE HELP ME GUYS & GALS

Dont know, but im,e sure someone will tell us,

im,e just pricing up for a school at the moment
so i may need to know myself.

We needed this card to carry out cleaning work for a reputable architect in Glasgow to recieve payment. However on speaking to the Inland Revenue they siad it was only really necessary if you are working in the construction industry. Hence CIS Construction Industry Scheme. If in doubt phone you local office.

Nice one ladz!!! Thanks for the quick response - I've put together a document for the schools in question explaining why I'm not CIS registered.  Cheers :) ;)
