Window Cleaning and Data Protection
« on: February 10, 2006, 12:37:40 pm »
How do we all stand as the new data protection act says, you cannot store names address and information about people without there permision.

As a lot of us use a computer system for our records, are we in breach of the act?

Should we have a form that the customer signs to give us permistion to store there details?

What do you think?

Roy

From what I read there, Roy we dont need to notify customers that we have imformation about them.

We do however need to keep the information in a secure location and make it available if asked to.

may the force be with you
