they build them bespoke for you, my brother bought one of the 3 cyl diesel's about 2 years ago and says its the best one he ever had. low revs so no strain on engine and air cooled. think he paid about 4k for it. they are also based in northern ireland which is the uk. they might be worth a ring at some stage, thats all i know.

Which is the point - If you need to return it to them they are in Ireland which although being part of the UK there is a very large puddle in the way which would require an expensive ferry crossing or a pallet each way. I never said their products were not good but just that I personally would not use an Irish firm for such an important piece of kit. Plus they speak foreign there - its bad enough with Wrightway speaking Northern   ;)
 We can all say it won't go wrong, get the engine firm's engineer out or they carry all the spares but I had a spider plate break and Wrightway having seen a photo sent from my phone, had the part to me by 9am the next morning. If you live in Ireland then great but there are good firms this side of the sea that supply good machines and its best to use them.

Number 4 has the ignition box missing where no2 seems to be there. The photo that shows the injection pump has a big roll of red tape on the wiring so there are some wiring / control box / key issues. You do like those big trailers - I'm doing mine in the new year

Didn't notice that. Hmmm...

I'm happy with the trailer we've got, these are a bit big for van I think.

Wouldn't have space in the van for one of those machines.

What do you think of the Izuzu jetters? Seen one for sale but it comes with a van, gonna see if he'll split and what he wants for it on its own.

Can you tow that without a tacho fitted? Van ,trailer,tack must gross out over 3500 kgs?

You could tow it with some vans.aslong as they were empty. My lwb transit has a gross tow weight of 5700 I think but the van weighs 3400 fully loaded.

You can tow that without a tacho so long as you don't go more than 50k from the base - there is also an issue if its plant or goods being towed.

I have no experience of Isuzu engines but there are plenty about, I've got a Yanmar on my jetter which is very good

If your vehicle's GTW is over 3500kg a tachograph is required if the GVW of the vehicle added to the Maximum Gross Weight of the trailer exceeds 3500kg.
31 mile rule could apply ...but the driver needs to keep a written log of his daily activity's ! Is that not a taco? Bit of  a grey area

I dont know anything about the taco laws. Might have to look into it if I ever buy a trailer. I think my gross tow weight is pretty high on the lwb transit. How do I find out what it is? Is it on the plate? And imassum7ng the gross tow weight is the weight of the loaded trailer plus the gross weight of the van?

Gross train weight is as it rolls down the road including fuel,bodys ,trailer, van."Big"  Transits unless they are specials are about 3500kgs. Train weight will be about 550Okgs ish. You could argue that it's plant...you might get away with it.

It makes no odds as you cannot exceed the plated weight of that vechicle (you'll get away with a warning at 110%) but the plant / 50k  rule only allows you to swerve the tacho rule. Tachos are a raving nightmare avoided at any cost. Amazes me why main dealers fit tow bars to 350 transits without advising of the need to fit a tacho
