Hi folks , just wondering does the 20 minute cut out on the gas heaters mean from the moment you turn it on or the last time you turned off your waterflow, which. turns off the heater and it restarts again. Hope this post is clear. Liam.

its from when you turn it on, i use triggers so even when i used to use my old L5 i never had this issue as the stop and start of using a trigger means you never go over the 20 minute time, now i have a fogwash though not using triggers is best as it helps me keep a good constant flow of hot water which maximises speed when cleaning conny roofs and facias and soffits

I use a L5 heater and never have a problem with it, never cut outing my in over a month of using it.
The cut out timer is a very important bit of kit on it, it stops it overheating and possible fire.

There is some way to adapt it but like others have said you turn it on and off frequently enough anyway.
