Nottingham business Merger opportunity
« on: February 08, 2006, 11:19:10 pm »
Hi all,

I've been window cleaning for a year and a half now and have had a number of partnerships that have sadly crumbled - My main focus at the moment is on Residential homes and Schools, with a reasonable amount of residiential work - I am looking for a responsbile and reliable business partner that is is realistic but has high ambitions like myself - please email info@jandjservices.co.uk if this opportunity might be of interest to you.

Many thanks

Hi all in the room just to keep you uptodate - someone has droped me an email asking what am I actually looking for?

Well this is was my response, and it may helps anyone else who takes a look:

For example this year I have targeted myself to get 8 schools on the books, so far I’ve close deals with 5 and I have 7 more that I am awaiting positive responses from.  That was just one of my targets I also wanted to expand my business and have set a target for 12 business for the year, this works out at 1 per month and so far I am exceeding target after taking on 4 in just one month.

All these closed sales are contracted for a year and I aim to keep them for good.  My next goal is to close large tenders for Pub chains or departments stores or even the NHS.  I know these goals seem high but when you hit the smaller ones you can hit the bigger ones.

I know it all sounds like some fairytale but if this is a business I expect to treat it as one and I guess that is what I look for in a partnership, determination, resilience and hard work.  It’s hard graft, but I figure if I’m going to take this window cleaning bit seriously then I need to put the effort in.

I hope that gives you and Idea of what I’m looking for.

So  how did you get on?, as partners have not worked for me. Someone always does more work than the other. All the partnerships that work ( R&R M&S etc) each partner offers a skill the other needs, how's this work for WCing?. Best of luck Mal
