find a theme you like at wordpress.org or themeforest or somewhere, download it to your pc, go to 'themes' on wordpress and upload your new theme. Go to 'pages' on the left, this is where you can add, change or alter your content.

Play about with it for a while its very easy and the effects can look really good.

Make sure you get some sort of security plugin for it before it goes live. Protect against malware etc. our site got hacked before christmas cos i forgot to reactivate the security plugin when i updated wordpress. Someone got into the site and was sending out 1000's of emails that looked like they were coming from us, selling viagara, cialis etc. Our host shut the site down, google dropped us and we have had to rebuid the site from scratch, over 100 pages, now that hurts!
