Nope, it's Christmas Eve.  All our shopping is done, but Wor Lass wants to go for a mince about the shops (probably to smile at those doing all the last minute stuff) and go for a meal.

I'll spend the afternoon/evening prepping for Christmas dinner (I do the technical cooking in our house).

Always work Christmas eve - weather permitting. Customers usually more friendly (though sometimes suprised) and usually get some tips. Lose enough time due to short days and bank holidays.

Yep i'll be working. Although i'm not holding out to much hope of getting much done. So instead of taking a few sarnies in a bag and me flask i'll just take some tesco bags for life with me and i'll shop. Might get some late deals on a leg of lamb etc  !! ;D
