I suppose anyone reading that story in that area, has now got the impression that window cleaners are like these two idiots. Takes years to build trust, and seconds to destroy it.

An awful thing to do.
Also, I wish reporters would include the word "bogus" when making such reports - as in bogus window cleaners.

But they were not Bogus, they were window cleaners, thieving scumbag ones but window cleaners none the less

Gives everyone else a bad name.maybe it should be licensed and anyone with criminal records for such crimes shouldnt be allowed to do any work at any house.
Everyone should have a id card that is renewed every 5 years and anyone done for theft should have it took off them.

Yup, any genuine guys looking to start up will be told to go to Hull.

Being diplomatic is being able to tell someone to go to hell in such a way that they look forward to the trip.

I would happily pay that to legitimise the job and get the riff raff off the streets.
Would get rid of the dolers too.
