What kind of jobs do your custys do and what do they earn.
What do you intend to do for the money charged (glass frames sills doors or just glass)
Some custys would be more than happy with just the glass cleaned for a low price
others want the full package and are prepared to pay more.

Is £1 per window fair? Nobodies ever complained before but had a new customer today say thats expensive 

If you have a price and they dont want to pay it, why would you want to clean her windows?

If you dont like the price of "The Sun" in the morning do they drop the price to get your business?

Totally agree with you dave, Cheers everyone for reassuring me that i'm not quoting to expensive, The customer has definitely got money probably just trying to get me to charge less, but she agreed on the price after i explained window cleaners no longer charge £2/£3 for a house with 10 windows lol

There's something in that. Peoples' expectations of what they should pay can be a problem. 
I've got loads of work like that; had them for years; cheap wc'er before. Nightmare but I'm too lazy to do anything about it  .

I work mine out so that a min of £10 is gained each house by simply charging £10 for the front. If a semi i add £5 if with a conny/extension with lots of glass i add another £5, if a 4 5 6 detatched plus i charge over £30 extra.i Mainly target victorian terrace and town houses where can get many fronts to do in a day.
