How long does your water last?
« on: December 11, 2012, 07:01:05 pm »
We use a 250ltr tank. One man set-up, and only WFP top windows.

We run out everyday  >:(

I was speaking to a mate of mine who also has a 250ltr tank, and he says that he can easily go all day without even worrying about running out.

Now, even he has a larger tank without realising it, or we are doing something wrong  ;D

What do you use a day?

I can go all day doing tops with someone else doing the bottoms so we do a fair few, 250L sounds about right. I don't use a controller either but I do turn water off between windows unless they are close together.

I use 350-400 litres on a full day. Most days have at least one first clean though.

I have a 650 tank, and on rare occasions manage to drain it dry. I'd guess on an average day I use about 350 litres,... But first cleans use loads extra.

i wfp everthing and only have a 300l tank so if your only doing tops then you are either A: doing £500+ a day or B: using too much water

do you use a controller?

Yeah we use a controller. Might be that were rinsing to much and possibly cleaning the whole window in genral to much

This is worth a look even if you have been WFPing for a while.

I tend to over wash and over rinse TBH which is wasting water.

Do you use aquadapters?

They add a bit of weight to the pole (The new ones are lighter than ever though), but when I used on I reckon I cut my water usage by 30% or more.

The complication though is the frame.
