As the title says...

For those WCs who do pressure washing too, do you use your tank (filled with tap water) to carry water for your washing or do you

1.  Use another water transporter
2. Use the customers?

THE most important thing to look for when buying a pressure washer for your budget is
Water flow, psi/BAR
15ltr per min waterflow at least will be needed
200 - 250 BAR will be OK for most jobs
Petrol or Diesel - depending what your budget is.
Machine Mart sell a good Clarke Petrol one that is 18ltr per min and 250 BAR - great machine for the money.

We sometimes draw water from our water tanks in the van, but normally use a 200 ltr barrel which we fill up using customers tap and draw from that.

Be aware that the Clarke machines (one of which I have) as with all others with ceramic pistons need some serious protection from the cold. I thought i'd done a good job insulating my machine last year, but the pump had still frozen and cracked a piston.

Getting a replacement piston for my Clarke machine was laborious. They have been on back order for 3 years, but were due in in the next fortnight. They never arrived and eventually they had to strip down an obsolete machine to sell me the pistons. Lesson learned.

If there's access to a tap we use that and a blue barrel to fill from, if not its tap water in one of the tanks in van

Thanks for your comments guys.

Does pressure washing have a season for it, or is it steady all year around?

Depends on your market.

Domestics tend to be spring and summer, for drives and patios, but commercial is all year round.
