Pure Freedom Booster pump problem
« on: December 05, 2012, 06:02:00 pm »
Just wondered if anybody had any suggestions.

Booster pump plug has a reset button. When presserd the orange indicator comes up telling you all is good and there are no power surges and on goes the pump when you press it.

When I press this button the orange indicator just doesnt come on. Ive changed the fuse and still no joy.

Any suggestions?

Ta, Steve

Just read my post back-rubbish!!!

The problem is that the pump isnt working at all. The orange indicator isnt a bulb but a slider. When you hold the reset button it shows. What should happen is that you plug in the pump, the slider is black. You then press the reset button, it becomes orange and then the pump kicks in. But nothing doing.

try fitting a normal plug without the RCD if this works then your RCD plug is broke and you will need to buy another, this happened to mine about 6 months ago
better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove any doubt
