bought a pump board from cleaning warehouse wolverhampton looks a great bit of kit and came really quick. might be a stupid question but the strainer is on the left of pump and inlet on the right of pump can i reverse this without effecting the pump. hope this makes sense

the strainer has to be on the inlet side to catch dirt before it enters pump

Confused.....the strainer needs to be on the other side (inlet side) anyway.
Its meant to stop rubbish going into your pump so pretty pointless after the pump.....?

Water will only draw from the inlet mate. You want it to be : tank - strainer - pump (inlet)

Just switch it over to inlet side all the fittings are their some dingbat has put on wrong side by mistake . Mike

got the strainer aswell about 11 quid. i know would be cheaper to buy separate but wanted one ready to go. and straight to work.

No. The £40 also includes connecting it, so if like me you are a liitle afraid of screwing up something like this, then £40 seems a relatively small fee. You wouldn't believe it though. Someone paid me £45 to clean their windows today. They could have done it themselves for nothing!

thats the way i look at it steve how many windows can you clean while you faffing about getting connectors etc from the diy. then connecting it up. but i must admit i am not the most handy person. each to there own i suppose.

Totally pikeman thats why i got a Streambox plus you get to disconnect and take it in the house in subzero temps unlike bolted in van mount systems . Mike

yes mike makes life easier i got a pump box just bought it in out the van. a few minutes and a few minutes in the morning to connect back up. bought the pump board as my son may be helping me out. brian
