I have one and it does a good job,  the inlet is well designed and not had a blockage yet .
The suction power is high for the size of motor and the filter is washable .
I think it works really well for domestics jobs but it's my first vac so no expert .
I did research the specs and they are very good,  and it's good value too .

Just wish I bought carbon poles,  alloy ones are a pain .

I've got one but not for gutter cleaning. However, for what it's worth- it is very good quality- FAR superior to Karcher in every way! Very robust & well designed. Got mine for vacuuming rubble etc & it blows the pants off the Karcher it replaced (which was also brand new but crap).

Machine Mart were the best price when I got mine. ;)

Bob, keep an eye out on ebay for a numatic 2400watt, something like this - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Numatic-WVD-900-2-Wet-Dry-Vacuum-Cleaner-110v-/271113150511?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3f1f9a602f

I use one of these with 20 foot of mini downpipe and its a good job. Works well.

The Nilfisk is about £120? If so I'd keep an eye out for a second hand Numatic for about the same price but more power.

A higher wattage does not always mean more suction power,  you need to read the airflow and water lift specs to compare them .
The numatic stuff is well made and tough but from my reading of the specs no more powerful suction wise .
