CHIP & PIN
« on: February 05, 2006, 10:28:06 pm »
Does anyone use chip & pin ??? I`ve been told it is possible to use this mobile. Does anyone use it?? What does it cost?? I don`t know about anyone else but I think  taking cheques for £100`s can be a bit iffy although no bouncers so far!! ( touch wood ) . Also if someone is using a credit card they don`t think about spending a little extra on sell on`s.....e.g stain protection as they can spread the cost]and hide the monthly bill from hubby!!!! Any comments / advice would be great......... Thanks in advance  :)

I looked into it a few years ago but it was too expensive for the amount of use. This is the kind of gear you get now. As technology has moved on, I might look into it again if the price is right!

Thanks Dennis, just e mailed them for info. Father in law has model train shop and swears by it. Worth a look as I believe its getting cheaper. Someone told me as low as £ 24 a month... not bad for peace of mind....... ;)

Quite a few companys offer mobile p.o.s. There are many different ways to do it. Software for your pda, java programs or secure sms for your mobile.
