As it stands, once we clean all top windows, we then bring the pole down, adjust the brush head, then extend pole again to clean all the sills. Yes, nightmare some of might think, but were used to it.

Do the sill brushes that are on the market clean the sills good enough? If so, which ones are best?

Im also looking at buying a facelift 18ft pole, anyone got any reviews on this pole?

if you use a swivel you can clean sills easy without adjusting the brush head angle.

James the simple answer is yes mate, the sill brushes are spot on for doing sills, might have adjust the angle of your body but it all come in time.. Recommend the medium sill brush from gardiners mate, although I do like the look of the new medium mixed sill brush!!

Why do you need to change the angle, I've been wfp a few months and I've never changed the angle yet

Hi James, I use the Gardiners Medium Radius Sill Brush and find it very good. You don't need to change the angle at all.

I have been WFP for over 4yrs and never collapsed pole to change angle to clean sills you should have the correct angle set permanently to clean glass and sills effectively .

And you should have the right technique to clean sills correctly if your window sills are clean on your own house then your custys should be clean as well , I always go over sills 3-4 times . Mike

What about when you don't have the room to stand back from the glass? With a normal brush if the angle is right for the glass, the stock will be rubbing in the sill and vice versa.

What Steve Sed Said... we use a vikan brush head so the angle when cleaning the glass if you didnt adjust then the plastic stock would mark/stratch the sill.

I use the Gardiner  brushes and don't have a problem with swiping the sills clean, I've even been using the carbon fibre gooseneck which is a set angle and don't need to collapse the pole at all. Frames, glass, sills. Done. Move on.
I also wouldn't have thought you'd scratch the sills very easily if the brush stock did brush against the sills as it's plastic on plastic?
I haven't had any complaints any road. And I don't apply great pressure swiping the sills.

PVC sills do scratch!
I did 3 sills on one house!
Spent hours sanding it back to suitable finish.
A mate if mine used to fit PVC and he told me how to get them back-otherwise I'd've had to pay for new sills.
Not made that mistake again!

Even with a normal brush i do it in 1 go just gotta get the right angle to do both mate.

Yeah Cliff, thats what ill do. Just got to find the right pole and ill order both, brush n pole together.
