put trolley in garage last night,but left pole and hose in van{idiot}
frozen solid at first job,so got the ladders off with much cursing.
to my surprise i have enjoyed it,no hassle with hoses,and getting up close to glass
have realised wfp results not as good as trad.
still love wfp but for a novelty trad is ok, and got the lungs going.

Should have just put some hot water over them, soon be un-frozen. Thats all i do when i forget like you did - takes about 10 mins including boiling the kettle and i can make a brew at the same time !

Hate it when I forget something but do it all the time. :
Why did you think trad was better? The reasons I ask is, I clean my own place as part of my normal 4 week cycle and I tend to use any water that has slipped through the net over night where the TDS is higher than 000 ppm. I frequently sit in the conservatory looking out and the first thing I do in the morning is look through third story bedroom window, to see what the weather is up to, and I regularly inspect my windows. I don't feel I put any additional effort in to cleaning my own place and I frequently compromise on the quality of water but I am always delighted with the results.
