I reckon the cocaine thing relates more to a goal celebration where he simulated snorting coke on a white line.

That was done in front of the Everton fans, who had fuelled rumours about Fowler's alleged cocaine use.
But they are a bitter lot, who do that sort of thing because they've not much to be positive about  .
