I think sometimes you just know what you need mentally and physically.
I have just got back in for a bite -  soaked through I hate working in the rain >:(
I had a rebellion Saturday I was struggling on Friday and even though Sat was a lovely day I just knew there was no way in the world I was going cleaning. :D
Had a brilliant day got a few jobs done , few pints in town just what I needed ;D ;D

Same here in Brighton. Yet again more rain.

I left to do a few before it started tipping down but found myself driving to the cafe for a breakfast.

Then I thought to myself I really, really must get going and promptly ordered some more tea and toast.

Then, instead of driving to the first job, I drove back home.  :-\

I committed the biggest sin possible last night and believed the met office website  :o plus all the shock headlines on Sky news.

Normally I just get out and see how the day turns out.

In fairness normally quite accurate but was telling me loads of rain and very high winds so thought stuff it take day off and stood my part timer down today

Done a little running around this morning and now looks ok to work  :(

Up to date with work so not a problem.

Inadvertantly having a rebellish Monday myself plus the missus been out since 8am

Got a big car showroom quote to sort  and a business plan to sort for Thursday so guess I wont be on the glass today.

You have to look at life holisticly. Asking yourself, "What is the best thing for me today?" If that is to have a day off, go for it!!

Perranporth recently had wind gusts to 69mph and St Ives to 60mph.

Sent all the window cleaners home at 2pm today, got some work done but the weather has been terrible here since the middle of the night. Luckily we're all up to date and got a big commercial job to do tomorrow regardless of the weather.

When I needed the money no. Now things are a touch more comfortable-every now & then.
Met Office iPhone app is quite accurate for next 24 hours.
