Hi, i'm sure you lot all know this.
my mother inlaws just moved to a new house no water metre.
But has now been contacted by four valleys her water board who say that any new people moving into proerties have to have a water metre fitted by law.(it's her house not rented.)
Anyone know about this?
Also how much bills are for wfp on water metre?
any links much appriecated.

next door to me had this. they moved in & how turns up to put a meter in, southern water. just went round to ask them for you, they have not got one. if the property is empty (vacent) they can put one in while empty, once you have moved in they can put it in if you agree.
i have been on a meter in my privious house, never again.
hope that helps.

i produce approx 500-600lts per day and my water bill has gone up approx £40-50 per month on a meter but like anything else, its an expense which is deductable.
