Anyone have a round comprising of houses in middle of nowhere.

5 miles down road from me it gets quite rural and was wondering if I could create a round of just houses off the beaten track ?

Charged accordingly obviously and would maybe work along lines of telling customers we run the scheme 4 times a year and up to them to call us if they want them doing or even book the next visit in when we are there cleaning.

Quite like idea of day in country cleaning say 5 houses at £60 a pop. .... nice break from compact estate work.

We do quite a bit like this, they are all good customers and all are normally well priced as are bigger!

Round here they tend to be older people so money isnt really an object but they tend to be every other month cleans. We have 2 full days like this and earn an extra 25% on each of these days compared to monthly stuff.

 thursday,cause they are just grateful to have them cleaned and that you make the effort to get there

I'm a rural cleaner and you will struggle to build a round of £60 jobs. What you will find is that the bread and butter work is with normal £15 - £25 jobs.
I say £25 because in my 9 years of experience upto it is no problem. Once it reaches and goes over that price they mostly want them done on longer frequencies.
You can price more of course, but the most profitable work is in the monthly maintenance clean which is very quick and gives good hourly rate on even standalone jobs.
The longer frequency bigger jobs can be very time consuming and in my experience aren't as profitable per hour.

I think you will also find that the premium you think rural work will pay will not be as much as you might think. Some prices are above town levels and some prices are below. This is because there are many window cleaners who haven't upped their prices in years.

Rural work is fantastic though. Very profitable with the small, mid size property maintenance cleans. Anything larger tends to be more sporadic and can return your most unproductive hourly rate depending on the time of year and if you clean the frames as well.

I have work in London's East End as well as in Brighton where I live. Sometimes just going half a mile in the East End to the next job can take longer than driving 10+ miles to a job in the Brighton area.

Not only that, parking in the East End can be a nightmare and sometimes I have given up trying to find anywhere to park and left the job untill the next month.

I have 4 days each month of houses on the south downs that are well off the beaten track and during summer especially, I love it.

I've found that realistically you can charge a bit more but not a lot. Even though customers who live in these types of places tend to be better off than the average or even stinking rich, most of them won't part with more of their stash than they have to.

I do a lot of rural work. It's just business - price it according to your hourly rate including travel to an from the job and frequency of clean. Add in a bit for the fact that your van gets totally filthy and needs extra cleaning (clean van is imperative = sense of pride) and your pole and reel hoses get filthy and its a pita (farmyards) and you're away.

I find people are grateful for me coming out to them.

I'm in Lincolnshire, loads of rurals.
Much of a muchness pricewise to town pricing.
People that own big expensive houses usually have a few quid because they're financially savvy (in my experience) so wont take prices being artificially increased.
