« on: November 24, 2012, 10:47:08 am »
Hi

I cannot decide how to store my poles (4 POLES) in the back of my SWB transit.

Can anyone please give me some ideas, Pictures would be great.

Thanks

I have mine on racks on the drivers side of the trani.
2 on each rack ,sort of big ally hooks that screw onto the side which
The poles sit in .

4" ( 100mm ) drain pipe sections - i have poles slide in/out easier than placing on hooks - also pole hose stays
neater and doesn't get caught up everywhere

That's the way we do it. Speeds things up no end.

Just roll the hose up and put over brush, or keep it all connected and wind it in.

Peugeot Boxer SWB - poles in pics are clx18 & slx 25

I have moved them around a bit towards the centre of the van, then a hook for the hose and then a mirror image. Will get an updated pic soon.

For those that use drainpipes do you find the poles slide about?

Very nice set up swc. Guessing yo have an slx. is there much advantage over the clx at 22ft?

Never heard the poles move at all though i reckon they roll a little when your turning

Advantage of the slx is the weight over the clx - also the higher you go the straighter the slx is compared to the slx

I use my clx now only for fascia cleans as the bend in it can be usefull - i dont like the bend though when im using it - spoilt with the slx now ;D

No probs Stu,

If you built a frame like i have got, you could have two tubes at the top and two tubes underneath

230ltr custom made to my dimensions i also carry freedom trolley with four drums too so that's another 100lts with use of small jets 1.2mm i find it enough, it would be to small if you used 2mm an 3mm jets,
