Fogwash users only answer this please
« on: November 22, 2012, 05:16:57 pm »
For those that bought the hotwash (fogwash NOT something else) Please tell me how much you paid and exactly what you got eg just the heater or other bits to. How much being the more important of the two questions

Many thanks

Lee

I find it a bit tempermental although it's not solely the heaters fault. Too much flow rate and it will cut out so you need this just right sometimes it won't fire up although the igniter is clicking away - usually the batteries need changing when this happens but there is no way of knowing for sure.
Biggest problem for me was controlling the pressure due to pipes expanding and having an overcomplicated controller that couldn't back the pressure down fast enough.

£205 with the flue. Great entry level kit for hot water once you get the hang of it, I just got a different flu from b an q after a bit an work with that sticking out the door. I'm going to upgrade next year to a proper pure freedom or ionics hot system though

ok ok this is all good.

I want a few myself but the smallest order I can make from the manufacturer is 20 units. Im just waiting to hear a price to me.

I dont need to really make any money on this except for my time faffing with postage and so on. So if anyone is intersted then please email on info@pryors-uk.com I dont know how much yet guys so bare with me ok. It is the exact same one as the fogwash which does not have the 20min timer.

I am not sure who you have contacted, but I email Vatti the company who make them directly. I wanted to order 3 units which came to a total of $180 for the 3, but shipping was $200 which put me off, the shipping price was the same for 1 unit.

If you can get enough interested and the shipping cost can be shared then it will be a good way of getting them.

Have you seen the advert at the top of this page? Third one down. Not the same as the fogwash but similar price.
