I use these ... last for about 6 months before they leak

buy em 3 pairs at a time so just reach for new pair when they wear out

I have some karrimore rigger boots (still going strong after 3 winters) from here, looks like they don't sell them anymore but these are same price and pretty much identical

Hey cowboy. I have just had the same experience. I bought some hi tec boots in August 2012 advertised as completely waterproof. The exact same boots i bought previously which lasted nearly a year. The glue started to come unstuck for the upper and sole on both boots so I rang hi tec and they said to send them back by free post and they will examine them. They agreed to replace them at no cost!!
They were £60.
So it might be worth trying to get them replaced if you have receipt.

I find how ever much I spend on boots, they seem to last roughly the same length of time which is about 3 to 4 months.

I used to spend £100 - £150 per pair but now I buy cheap at £20 - £25.

my boots usaully last 1 half years as out in them most days and they take some abuse i think its because they are allways wet it rots the stitching , i remember one year we were working and my brother in law said his feet were wet there was no hole on in view its when he got home there was a big hole in the sole of the boot

I bought these boots from toolstation. I wasnt expecting alot as they are so cheap but they lasted me 1 year and 2 months before water started coming in. They are really comfortable too. I am on my second pair now. Worth a go:

If they're a used military gortex boot, those are really high quality and very good.

Sports Direct sell other brands too; some not to bad; at least this is true when it comes to training shoes.  I don't know about their boots.

berghaus gortex boots £100 a pair last 1 year. aways get good socks £10 a pair from blacks.
