Cedar Decking

Can I use Hypo on cedar decking?
I have a deck cleaning job to do next week that is very green and slippery, I was thinking of using hypo as a pre-treatment prior to jetwashing at a mix of 10:1, I haven't cleaned cedar before.
What else would you suggest if not.
Any advice greatly appreciated.

It would seem not !
I've not come across cedar decking - I use bleach on ordinary decking, scrubbed with a deck scrub, rinsed off and lightly sanded with a wet black scotch brite pad on a doodle bug. My bee hives are cedar and they reccomend a weak bleach solution to sterilise them during the winter
