I feel for you (not literally else I'd be covered in it too  ) How annoying to put it mildly.
I've just started wearing those nitrile plastic gloves just in case, as you never know what's lurking on the pavement / path. They can at least keep your hands from stinking and help sort out some of your gear until you get home.

I was once playing in goal and was chewing on the end of my gloves with boredom and noticed that I had a grit type of crunch going on in between my teeth. I took a closer look and realised that I was chomping on a mouth full of fido fudge. It was extremely distressing.

I was putting the ladder on the roof rack yesterday when I got a strong smell of dog cr*p. All over my hands ,me mate couldn't stop laughing. Still going on about it today. Thing is it don't bother me ,  quick wash off in bucket of fairy and carry on working.
