Hi Sean
Got one without the RO as I fill the tank with tap water 80 - 90 TDS and purify on the way out.
Tank is very sturdy with brass fittings.
DI vessel is a good size.
Can run two pumps on one controller.
The see through hose water level indicator gets all mucked up inside and is a devil to clean out.
Just beware of Brodex customer service they were useless IMO.

I bought a second hand tank from the for sale section 500l
To replace my 250 and I re jigged the most of the other parts
From my old pro system to suit my van.
Due to new position of pumps, pipe work and and controllers
I have more room now in my van with a tanks twice the
Size than I did b4!

Ill have a dig for some pics

Cleaning warehouse do a DIY system that
You can put in your van. Very easy to do but I
Think you will need a few pointers if you havnt
Seen one b4

Cheers

I don't think a frame is a must on a 500l or less
( I'm sure people will disagree )  as long as the tank is secured
Correctly  and it is a sturdy tank it will be fine.
1400 sounds a lot to me mate cleaning warehouse
250l DIY but most of it is already done is about £650
If memory serves me correct.

Google them mate there in Wolverhampton
Good company to deal with mate

If you understand how a system works you should be ok building your own Sean. Do you want RO in the van or will you be producing it separately in a shed or garage for example?
Is there anybody local who could help you if you don't understand?
You need : Tank & tank outlet connecter reduced to 1/2'',
Pump, controller, leisure battery, 1/2''(12mm) hose to connect tank to pump then to hose reel. End stop for hose end, for connecting hose reel to pole. Reel and hose of course  ;D. And a decent pole. Plenty of threads on here for pole advice (or controversy  ;D ;D)

Once again thanks for replies,i think the way i want to go is have a van mounted system RO &DI so i can just pull my van into garage and fill up overnight and charge battery and be allready to go in morning.Suppose its a bit of a minefield setting off as you do not want to spend hard earned money on something that turns out not to be suitable in 12 months.

Yeah, that's how I felt Sean, but I got some great advice from the fellas on this forum. Now I can't believe how simple it is!

Yes, this is a screenshot from companies house website:

That "Ideal Corporate Solutions" address is the address of the liquidator.

You can order the liquidation documents from companies house website for £1, I might do it just out of curiousity to see how much debt they were in.

and a 250 litre tank will end up being too small for a days work once you get into the swing of it.
The three of use usually use about 400 litres each.
