Four jobs for sale in Surrey, 'Not exactly a round.!!!'
« on: November 14, 2012, 01:26:28 pm »
Hi all

I have put an ad on the 'Rounds for Sale' forum, for four jobs in North Cheam, Surrey. Is putting this sort of ad for just four jobs acceptable? Any opinions/advice on the ad would also be greatly received too. I have just put my crash helmet on  hahahahaha

Regards

Joe

Not seen ad but no reason why u shouldn't advertise - if 4 jobs came up for sale in my “patch" then I be happy to buy em all things considered.

Item Location: North Cheam Surrey - WFP - Saturdays

Hi Everybody

I wouldn't so much call it a round, but I have 4 jobs on the same road that I am looking to pass on. There will be one more available in the new year, please read on and let me explain.

Basically there are two houses next to each other, front and back £12
one house one way about ten doors away, front and back £15
one house the other way £6 Front only.

The main issue is that the two next to each other can only do SATURDAYS and need WFP, the £15 one would be fine with that as well. The £6 is no problem as is front only.

These are done every four to six weeks.

There will also be another £15 job available in the new year, just that at the moment I am doing one across the road from it but they are moving in the new year, both can be done with ladders so I do them both when I go there at the moment but it won't be worth me going there for just one job. They will be fine with WFP too.
There is also a couple of people on that road who said they are looking to get theirs done too (Yes, we have all heard that before) I will give you their details too.
And there is also potential from one of the present customers for a bigger job.!

If interested please get back to me, either on here or email me direct (address on profile), I will be more than happy to explain everything.
I live in Morden and have no transport at the moment so I am concentrating on building my round there. I have no WFP either.
The four jobs going at the moment total £45, I am hoping to get in the region of £350. But will of course consider any serious offer.!
They are due to be done now as well  hahahaha

way way too much hassle with these.

for what your asking for them they need to be turn up and clean jobs ... not can only be done on a Saturday and poor access etc etc ..... jobs like this I have either just dumped or gave away for free in the past. ... plus sound underpriced for down south - maybe ??

Just my opinion but u did ask for comments  ;D

Thank you for your comment, it really is much appreciated. I have explained on the other forum that I think the jobs are ok but the reasons I am looking to sell is because I don't have WFP, and they are 3 miles away from where I am based (I don't drive.!). The reason I have the jobs is because a friend wanted her windows done so I said yes, I then canvassed the street and got a few other jobs (with promises, and certainly potential for more work.!). No WFP I could at a push get away with, but the 3 mile walk is a bit of a pain. If everybody says that I have made a mistake, I may well have done, but we live and learn. This has already been a bit of a learning curve for me.! I did say I have put my crash helmet on, lucky I did.
Thank you again for your input, it really is helpful (which is what I believe this site is meant to be all about).
