I use the blue scrims, great for leaded windows, I've got rid of all my traditional scrims, find them annoying now!

Also what do you use to wash them? I put them on 80 degrees and use a small amount of 'washing machine stuff' no conditioner, seems to do the job....

I had a load of scrimmers today, so the old shoulders start to burn, it's a pain now there building more and more new houses with those little square windows, just means I charge more...

Yeah, sorry, I just use them as scrims so still call them scrims..

i use UNGER scrims, have about 40 odd ,used over by my workers.

I prefer scrim to micro fibre but they are a bugger to run in

I use the pre-washed scrims from the window clean centre.

Not perfect but after a few uses they don't leave anything behind.

Tried micro fibs the only problem i have with em is my mrs doesn't like me washing my clothes in washing machine, do make it smell

Bought 10 pre washed scrims when i get to no 8 i'll drop em in at the laundrette, coun't trust them to NOT use fabric softner for micro fibres.

Fabric softner wouldn't be great for scrim but wouldn't ruin it.

Also with scrims you could wash yourself in a bucket and wring out to dry.

Or if not bothered don't wash en and downgrade them to sill clothes after a couple of month's
I think scrims work out cheaper in the long run and i don't think there's much difference to micro's as long as you buy the pre-washed scrims.
