Do yourself a favour, It wont help this time, but sign up for Credit Focus at Barclays.

It costs about £5.00 a month, and you can Credit check your main customers, get there latest company balance sheet, and whether there are any ccj's or winding up orders.

Maybe with that info you would have seen it coming
