greasy brickweave
« on: November 07, 2012, 05:36:57 pm »
Just been asked to quote a small shopping arcade brick weave floor. This is the heavy duty type which fit really snug to each other with no sand in between despite a slight bevel at the top. Anyway, they want me to clean a grease spill which has originated from one of the restaurants to the bin store, the problem is if I clean just the spill it'll leave a clean streak down the middle of the pavement and look stupid. Their concern is one of cost as the spill is just a fraction of the floor space.

Any ideas on how to approach this? I'm inclined only to do the job doing the whole lot as I wouldn't want to put my name to a job that doesn't look finished!

Also, what chems do you use for grease removal off of brive weave / cement floors, I've used Virosol in the past with good effect?

cheers, dickie....
