« on: November 06, 2012, 03:12:53 pm »
SO 2 years free with natwest

in 2 years time ill switch to Barclays
in 2 years after that hsbc and so on ,

but will i be able to open an account with natwest again if i canceled or will they treat me how we treat customers "sorry you canceled before so its double now" maybe they will say 4 years ago you stopped your acc and went els where so we cant offer it free anymore,

My point is im looking at long term i dont want to pay the bank those charges but there is only 4-5 banks offering at the moment so not enof to rotate much more then 8 years if i p them all off by canceling after the free period i hope they dont deney me one day lol  ;D

I think most of them only offer free business banking to new businesses less than 12 months old.

thats what they say, but ive heard that someone who was using his personal account for years got buillied into it recently and they gave him 2 years,

What i dont understand is why is the cashier the person who says U MUST OPEN A BUSINESS ACC surley if it was a problem they would write explainging that they wont be taking any cheques untill i open an account? , ive been using deposit box for ages and had no problems but other day had 2 cheques not in my name had to go down to take em back and re do paying in amount then they ponced on me...

Correct me if i am wrong but they are just trying to sell you something would they actually shut your account down and ask you to take your trading els where?

Raj will be calling me soon to discuss new 2 year free banking acc....

60p a cheque is 6% on £10 3% on £20 its just too much...wont pay that so ill take the 2 years if i have too then cya later.

One man band £120 a year (plus £30 first year).

I was quoted exactly that much for insurance against a tax investigation, so everything else they do is effectively free.  Other things they do: http://www.fsb.org.uk/benefits
